SELF-INTERVIEW

(part1)

what are u up to?

what I already have. lots of interesting challenging work & interesting challenging people, and a misogynic political situation in my home country. all three are necessities, not all had I the chance to choose

what would u be up to if not what u r up to?

breeding goats in Crete

(part2)

hi again

hi there

how r u today?

sore cuffs

that’s bad

still ok, I could be dying of hunger in Rwanda

can we avoid starting with this holistic mood of yours?

sure let’s start somewhere else

what r u up to?

is it a déjà vu?

just another glitch in the matrix

(part3)

I feel u r a bit lost, tense?

true, although I cannot specify the reason …
(pause)
I’d like that someone directs me a bit more. not that he/she would necessarily tell me what to do, but maybe slightly orient me / point me due north / put my work in a context / provide references

do u know who?

I was considering Sophie Calle, Jennifer, Quentin
there are strong pros and cons for each one of them
somebody who knows me? a mythical person I admire? from the dance field? someone I could sleep with? God? he doesn’t seem available at the moment, must be busy somewhere else. (deep breath) maybe this person could be someone who despises me, or a psycho or a psychoanalyst?

u sound obsessive …

that’s the problem of being self-referential. Being the departure, the arrival, the train and the controller

I know, look at us

exactly, there u r! (makes a vague gesture with the hand)

(long pause)
