The video work by Oleg Soulimenko was created on day 14 during the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine and shows a body, actually just a body part - a leg, on which fertile earth is applied - like a mud pack. Or a camouflage. The floral fabric on which the ritual is celebrated evokes the transience of flowers, the thin line between existence and passing. Wax drips from a burning candle onto the leg and leaves traces, perhaps forever.
